1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Science is progressing so should we. Humans are inventing and developing advanced technologies to replace  human’s and human interference from jobs that were once done by humans. If technology is replacing humans, then where are humans in those jobs going?
2. World economy – In todays world economy for people working, associated, dealing and trading in International and local economies, costs and supplies get affected and your job and income security is determined by how the world economy performs. And you have no control over it.
3. Robots and Robotics – Over the years Robots and Robotics have been deployed in major manufacturing activities. But can you imagine a Robot serving you food in a restaurant? Yes, that’s a reality now! There are restaurants who have deployed Robots to serve you food eliminating the need for humans serving you.
4. Online stores and sales – More than ever and its seen that major retailer are fast transitioning their businesses online. You have all the products and services at your fingertips and in your palms and are priced much lower than what’s available at our local store. Why would you then spend time and more money and visit those local stores and retailers? So what happens to those traditional small businesses? Would you start a Brick and Mortar business if all the sales are happening online?
5. Major Financial and banking sectors have moved online – All the banking, financial, insurance and other related information is shared and available online, you have access to the latest and up-to-date information and you can apply for these products from the comfort of your home at your fingertips, and without human interaction. So as the footfall has been dwindling, these corporates are reducing the number of their retail outlets and reducing their overheads. What happens to the jobs of the people in those customer facing jobs?
6. Car Automations and Self driving cars – With all major car manufacturers moving towards electric cars with the future being self-driving cars.. Low maintenance and service, low / no fuel costs, lower numbers of crashes on the roads. What do you expect is the future of the industries associated with the automotive industry- the Insurance industry, energy sector, Drivers, Motor mechanics. Where are those jobs going?
7. Transportation and logistics – The back-bone of any thriving economy – With online bookings, auto-scheduling, status updates, all moving / already moved online. How many jobs are being slashed on regular basis? And with the future being self-driving trucks.
8. Both Parents working – Are you happy leaving your kid at the child / day care while both of you are busy working in a job for money to make a living? How many hours of quality time are you able to give to your loved ones? Have you ever thought about being able to have more quality time for yourself and your family? Do you have a plan?
9. Qualification – Having big dreams and aspirations but feel that you are not qualified enough and cannot achieve your goals? Working stretched and long hours only to make a living? Have you ever thought of doing something different?
10. This one is crucial and critical – Have you ever wildly imagined not being able to work because of an illness or a major Injury? Your income stops, you have no source of ongoing income? Are you relying on Social security and Insurance to take care of you and your family?

There are many reasons WHY, but I have listed only 10 reasons WHY you should ever consider having multiple sources of Income.
